Upper School Service & Missions Trips

Service before self is an important element in the mission statement of The First Academy. Involvement in mission work is a key part in the education of Christian students. Fortunately, The First Academy has a resource not available to most Christian schools: First Baptist Church, Orlando.

The First Academy is privileged to partner with the Youth Ministry of First Baptist to provide students with mission experiences all over the world. Past missions have found our students helping clean up in the wake of Katrina in New Orleans, Louisiana, and supporting homeless ministries in Los Angeles, California and West Palm Beach, Florida. They have ministered to orphans in Beijing, China, and performed general missions work in Honduras and Thailand.

There are many opportunities for students of The First Academy to be involved in significant missions work because of the school’s relationship with FBC/O.
