The First Academy
Library exists to encourage students to become lifelong
learners. We assist students in acquiring the skills
they need to become proficient consumers and producers
of information. In both of our conveniently located
Library Media Centers, we encourage every student
to make reading a way of life.
We
understand that information is found in many places
and formats in today's world. Our collection has been
developed to support our school's curriculum grade
level by grade level. There are over 23,000 volumes,
periodicals, videos, and CD-ROMs. We have an excellent
collection of classical and Christian fiction. The
libraries work closely with the technology department.
The networked computers run the Internet and Microsoft
Office Programs.

Student Reading Lists |
The First Academy Library Program supports the accelerated reader
programs of the school. Below are the booklists for
each program. There are approximately 600 titles for
the K - 2nd programs, 1600 titles for the 3rd - 5th
program, and 3300 titles for the 6th - 12th program.
